Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Just wanted to post a big "THANK YOU!!" to Mike for fixing the Jimmy for us before we gave the car over to the new owner. It made my dad feel a lot better that he was giving a mechanically sound vehicle to the new owner rather than giving the new owner a vehicle that was having issues. Mike worked on the car over the weekend and my dad said he even was outside laying on a piece of cardboard to get the Jimmy fixed - unbelievable dedication to getting the job done. Thanks, Mike! My dad and I really appreciate it!
In all honesty, I'm not entirely sure. First we thought it was a vacuum canister leak because the canister is right under the battery tray and susceptible to rusting little holes and then having a vacuum leak. Last I knew, a ball or cable or something had to be replaced but then I thought I heard my dad saying something else to someone on the phone.
A pressure valve was bad allowing oil to leak into vacuum lines making 4X4 shift out to 2 wheel slow and clunking because of front to back wheels out of sync. This was happening on dry pavement, when you want to shift out of 4 wheel. Mike really knows his stuff.
