These things are great, I have one (diff brand) and I use it ALL the time! I also paid more around $30, so this is a great deal.

I bought one for my TA last fall. I used the battery harness with connector so all I have to do so pop my hood and plug it in. Made storing my car so easy!

Edit - I also perminatly mounted mine to the wall so when I back in the garage its always there. Just pop the hood and BOOM!

I have one of these for my motorcycle. I've only used it about three years now but it has worked wonders on my Harley. I've owned the bike since new in 2001 and even only being 5 months old with 700 miles the bikes battery took a poop the first winter. I still have the original HD battery in my bike after 7 years and I give it all to my battery tender. The perminate harness really comes in handy. Especially on a motorcycle where you can't easily hook up to the battery.

How does that hook up? I see the regular jumpers but then I see two connections that look like they go onto the battery terminals? I'm interested in something like this for my car for the winter, just want to make sure it's what I need. I also like the idea of being able to mount it to the wall of the garage with that 12 foot long cable.

You have the standard clamps like a set of jumper wires or there is a harness that you put in between your battery terminals/battery. It's identical to hooking up a wire for your amp except it is both + and -. With that wired up all you have to do is plug the harness in and it does its trickle charging magic. It's so convenient.

Damn, I wish the charger I bought was automatic.

                    $50 and it's not auto...

These Things work Great, I have 2 one for the Camaro and one for the lawn mower. I really need to pick up another for the Travel trailer but I'll do that after I get a new battery for it in the spring.
