If you are at all mechanically inclined you can install. Comes with basic instructions. The trick is to FOLLOW them. It takes longer to hide it than the actual install.

What exactly does it do and how does it work?

It kills 2 electrical systems in the vehicle. It is wired through the firewall and connected to 2 different systems in the engine compartment. All the wires are black and you/we use the stock wire loom or add wire loom to hide it.
In the passenger compartment you have a female base and a male plug that you pull to disable the car and plug in to reactivate the car.

You pick 2 circuits that won't send an error message to the computer, something like fuel pump and starter.
