is this a good deal

yeah I dont know anyone with a 600 watt system to compare to my budy has a 40 dollar 4 chanel 1600 watts amp with some old beat subs but it sounds real good inside when you turn it up its not the clearest but at the right volume and song it sounds good.

i would try to find a set of speakers in a box on sale then like i said earlier... best buy or mickeyshore... all electronics are marked up like you wouldnt believe but they can afford to sell them almost at cost on occasion to draw customers in... just make sure your the first one there otherwise it might be gone... they had a nice pair of kenwoods in a box for 175 here last week speakers alone are usually 100 bucks a pop for the ones they were selling.. amps are the trickey thing they usually dont go on sale all to often from what ive noticed expect to pay atleast 10 bucks for every 100 watt's if not more

i went through it didnt notice any... last "off brand" i bought was boss and i really liked them just 6x9's and 6inch 3 ways but the magnets were huge the casings was high quality and the cone itself was titanium base... and it was as much as a cheep pioneer.. and if arche says its good id try that...

its all gonna depend on what you want and what your willing to spend... as you can see you can spend 75 bucks or 750 bucks on just a pair of speakers and an amp... for something decent though your probably gonna need to drop atleast 2-300 bucks.. just look for deals and if its a brand your not familiar with research it see what others say... car audio is a tough area cause each company makes 10 or more brands and out of that there are 3 or 4 differnt qualitys to each name from cheepo-competition..

i did a search on the speakers and amp in that pyle package i hear nothing but good things about the amp... everyone says it works great and pushes out plenty of power... the speakers the say sound nice but can blow easy... so i dont know 50/50 chance there thats the ting with car audio though you could save a couple hundred bucks and go with an off brand... but then you risk blowing your investment.. if you want like i said you can try mine out not using it... nothing crazy 1200watt but you could do the same system for like 250 300 bucks and get a nice warranty to go with it atleast... i would just need it back by spring next year..lol
