ya that pyle is a much better system... ive never had one problem with there amps there speakers are kinda hitt and miss but aslong as you dont over power them you will be fine... and with that amp and thouse 2 speakers it should be just enough... much better quality system... and it comes in a box.. might even be able to fit that in the storage space in back...
much better deal... still not top of the line mind you but i would atleast trust that to last more than a few weeks... you can try that and if you want a model specific box you can usually find a decent one to fit in the t-top space for like 75-100 bucks online..

well that says its a bandpass system... but it pictures a sealed box from what i can tell.. id check with the seller for sure to get the box demensions, but eaither way it will still fit in the hatch behind the passenger seats just not sure how bad it could block your rear view

Bandpass really is just hype. Technically, bandpass is an electronic filter.

Whenever you hear ANY car guy mention 'bandpass' though, they think of a "bandpass enclosure'.

                  Waste of money.

bandpass encases half the speaker in a sealed case and vents the other half... usually its covered with a thick piece of plexiglass... very cool looking boxes not always the loudest but by far the best sounding...im sure you have seen one before a speaker in a box with ports out the back and the face of the speaker blocked with plexiglass or its flipped around to have the rear of the speaker covered... i have a 8inch pioneer bandpass in my duster had the thing sence i was 15... damn thing still wont die i think the box is acctually rotting away now.....
the other boxes are sealed.. which is just a speaker in a box with no ports on it...
or ported which just has holes in a box to let the air pass from the other end of the speaker most home woofers are this way..

but im with him unless you get it at a deal.. like free with speakers... or for the same price as a normal box i wouldnt blow cash just on that... its more apperance than anything... and make sure your speakers are designed for it... most speakers will say right on them what style box they are intended for bandpass, ported,or sealed and which they will perform best with... my cheep little sonys blew my bandpass box apart litterally... heavy POS..lol looked cool but didnt sound right in that box to begin with.

for that pyle kit with shipping... id go for it i mean its less than 200 bucks, you get a decent 600 watt amp thats atleast 75 to 100 bucks even an off brand.. the wire kit which is about ahh 25-50 bucks then 2 10 inch speakers and a box... your looking at atleast another 125 bucks even for an off brand... as a package deal on a budget its perfect starter kit... and you can slowly upgrade from there if you want the head rattling boom later...

take a bag of dog shit and hit it with a hammer. Pyle,Legacy, and Pyramid are at the bottom of the quality ladder. That amp puts out about 50 watts in the real world (if it doesn't say CEA 2006 compliant they can use any numbers tehy want to publish) if you want cheap and decent get a boss or quantum amp (quantum is made by DB Drive which is a high end company) build your own box, and get a crunch sub (they are the same as hifonics, and autotek) Swiss is another one that is good and still fairly cheap (Audiobahns high end line) heck even a bazooka tube will sound better than that stuff, with audio you get what you pay for normally
