Antennas are in!

Done! The antennas are anodized, in, and stocked! Threw one on my car for the ride home and got a feel for the reception characteristics. 95.5 comes in crispy, 93.1 and 96.3 are strong, 101.1 can be a little fussy, and 88.7 is a tad on the weak side, but I blame their signal for that.

Those of you who are interested I'll have them available out on Woodward this weekend, otherwise hit up my website and I can get one shipped out to you. Got one of those off a guy on LS1Tech, love the look of it but the reception is definitely lacking IMHO. Thinking about switching back to the factory one because it really becomes annoying after awhile.

Yeah, 95.5 is flaky at times and they are relatively close to me. 88.7 hardly comes in. 101.1 I gave up on. 97.9 & 96.3 have their moments. I didn't have these issues with my stock antenna, think I'm goin' back to it.

I'm pretty sure they are different but they are the same basic design. After trying a shorter antenna myself, I appreciate the lack of problems that I encountered with the stock one.

i actually normally use my zune while im out here becuase i dont get good reception anyways
but when i go to my moms in frazer i like to turn on 95.5


they look nice though

The reception isn't compromised nearly as much as you're probably thinking. I'm assuming you have the BitViper antenna? That guy has sold those things like crazy.

I'll have a stock of them at the M&G, as many as I have left or I may make another order before then.
