Wow, thanks for the great response guys! Sorry I was so slow to respond, I've been out all night. Anyway, the order for the first batch of antennas went in yesterday, they should be done and in my hands before the end of the month. The initial run of production antennas will be black anodized aluminum, with clear anodize and other finishes available in the future. The antenna is 3.5" tall and was designed specifically for GM vehicles (they use a standard antenna pedestal). These pictures are of the prototype antenna and shift knob machined by a friend from stainless steel.

And the antenna on the car (blackberry pictures, excuse the poor quality)

Pricing for the antennas is $25+shipping

The shift knob, in complete honesty, was initially designed for import cars (they represent a decent market for me), and the prototype is threaded M10x1.5. I will be ordering the first batch of shift knobs tomorrow. The initial run of shift knobs will be made from Delrin, a fairly heavyweight resin plastic that has favorable heat/cold resistant qualities (metal knobs can get extremely hot/cold). Weight should be slightly above that of a Hurst resin knob. I'll be specifying a small number to be threaded 3/8"x24, the standard thread on aftermarket Hurst shifters such as the one in my Camaro. I'm doing my best to bring products to the market for everyone as fast as I can, but running on a limited start-up budget I can only do so much.

Tentative pricing for the Delrin knob is $35+shipping

Again, thank you all for the overwhelming response! Please bear with me as I wait for the first batches to come in, I'll be as anxious as you are. Post any questions here or feel free to PM me as well. I may take pre-orders as the ETA draws nearer for the first rounds.

How well does the Antenna work, reception wise?

From my testing so far the reception hasn't suffered too badly. I'm waiting for the production pieces to come in to fully pass judgment though since the aluminum and stainless antennas could have entirely different reception qualities. I'll tell you what though, it does look GOOD. I can't wait to get a black one on it.

you going to be making any automatic knobs ?

also is there a way we could get like a logo on top of the knob ?

Automatic knobs are a definite possibility, I'll have to do some development, but it's certainly possible I could have some in the near future.

Engraving and laser etching are being looked into. I'm working on a logo that I'm going to have laser etched into the side of every knob, and I'll be contacting someone about engraving different shift patterns and logos on the top.
