Yes, I was there from 9 - 3:30pm. Got caught in the construction on 59 heading east, and said the hell with it. Turned around, drove all the way back out to 23, north to Flint, east to Lapeer. Longest highway drive I've ever taken the car on. Temp wasn't been when the car was moving.

I saw that bullshit coming there and decided then and there that we'd be taking 696 back. Given I was trying to avoid as many acceleration events as possible, having an open exhaust, that was my best option. Going out there was fine, though.

Yes, I drove through the clouds of white cement dust on the way out. But I still forgot all about it on the way home....until I was stuck in it.
