For 2020 we will again be returning to The HUB Stadium in Auburn Hills! Easily accessible from I-75, The HUB Stadium will be easy for everyone to access no matter which direction you're coming from!

Inside The HUB Stadium is Bombowling, Axe throwing, a huge full service bar, and restaurant! Just like 2019's car show, I have no doubts that 2020's Meet & Greet will be *AWESOME!*

2020's Meet & Greet will be on June 6th, the 2nd Saturday after Memorial Day, in an attempt to avoid schedule conflicts with the Detroit Grand Prix.

Show hours will be from 8am to 3pm. We will target the awards ceremony for 2pm and folks can stick around after the awards ceremony to hang out inside The HUB Stadium afterwards as well!

**As we have done for the past few years, judging at the Meet & Greet will be $10 per vehicle and will be collected at the show. Additionally, we will again *NOT* have Pre-Registration! Show up at the event, have a great time, and if you want to enter judging you can register at the show!

    Excellent!

New date also NOT the same as the Widetracker's Spring Dust off! I might be able to make it this year.

I meant to update this back on April 1st with some news from Brian, that was posted in the Facebook event, that unfortunately is not an April Fool's joke:

As much as it absolutely pains me to make this post - at this point in time, the most responsible thing for us to do as a community is to cancel our 2020 Meet & Greet as originally planned. Other states are requiring residents to stay-at-home until June 10th and we're far worse off than they are with covid-19 infections and deaths. Trust me - it REALLY pains me to make this post: this is the 15th anniversary for Michigan FBody and this hurts and sucks; But we want to be safe and make sure we don't spread the virus. On a personal level, I am a GM employee and my pay is being deferred 20% for at least the next 6 months - there are a lot of out-of-pocket expenses related to the Meet & Greet that I cannot commit to at this time. Never in a million years would I have thought we'd ever be in this position, but here we are.

That said - there IS a lot of time between then and now. I've been monitoring progress every single day. If at some point it's safe for us to have a large group meet up, I will reach out to The Hub to see if we can do it *OR* we will return to our roots and have an informal meet up at Kensington Metro Park like we used to do in the past. If there is a change and we can schedule something, I will post it up and organize it as quickly as possible. Until then - see you all again in 2021. Sincerely, love all of you that support us every year. This too shall pass and will be yet another milestone in our lives that we will get to talk about. Until then - Be safe. Stay healthy. Wash your hands!
I will update the thread should anything change, but at this point in time, it is in our best interest, and our responsibility, to forego a large gathering such as this, to keep every one of us as safe as possible.

          Disappointing, but not surprising.

I received an email from The Widetrackers that their Spring Dust-Off is cancelled as well.

Hopefully we can squeeze in a MIFB event later in the summer or fall.

That would be great if we could - even Woodward nights are likely to be not the best idea for a good deal of the summer. That said, parking the cars with a space in between and sitting in them, screaming from out our windows at each other might be okay

I've been wondering what the first "open" weekend will look like on Woodward. A whole lot of people in metro Detroit with nice cars that have not been able to take them out (much). I think when the brain trust in Lansing gives us a green light, it's going to be pretty wild out there that first Friday and Saturday.
