Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Well if it had Aluminum heads then it must have been a 427 ZL1 all Aluminum Engine. GM only made 69 of those COPO Camaro's. They were made for NHRA Super Stock Drag Racing. GM Had to make at lease 50 of those cars to satisfy the NHRA. That Engine was rated @ 430 HP but it really made over 500 HP.
OH YEAH - you just revamped my memory it IS a 427 ZL1. I remember that it specifically said they only made 69 for 1969. All of the Yenkos in that corner of the barn (Two Camaros, a Corvette, Chevelle...) were owned by the same guy.

They didn't make a Corvette Yenko, did they? Thought it was Chevelle, Camaro and Nova's. I remember reading an interview with Don and he said of all the Yenko cars he built, The Nova was the scariest to drive..
Might've been a Nova. I honestly didn't pay any attention to the cars around it aside from the two Camaros... and even then after looking at all the 1930's cars I didn't look at the Camaros that long
