they arent very loud atleast i cant tell... cant hear it at all with the motor running..lol just a light hum... the one i have now is just a 5-9 psi 40gph pump... not enough to get me where i need to be but it will come in handy still i can have a seperate pump for my nitrous...Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. But it's not exactly street legal, so keep it on the down low.

i run an aeromotive SS pump for my motor. and a holley blue for my nitrous.
but i have a 300 shot installed which is why im running the blue for the nitrous side. the engine side i probably shoulda got a a1000 but im kicking it all down to 12 psi on the motor and 6 on the nitrous.04 dodge ram HemiGtx 001/433

i ended up getting a summit brand pump, identical to the holley black made by the same company that the black is but 50 bucks cheeper with a summit sticker on it... its a 140gph 14psi pump and comes with a regulator.. should be more than enough for my carb...Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. lol i have done it before but usually on cars i didnt care about... even then its almost as much work... you have to find an inline fuel pump that pumps as much as your fuel injected one if not more splice into the factory fuel pump wiring cut the fuel lines and place it between.... and then cross your fingers and hope the fuel pump didnt die in mid stroke or whatever and you will still get decent flow... its honestley a last resort thing... dont do it to a car you like, insted of dropping the tank look into making a door to it in the hatch... alot of people do that for easy access to there pump...Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice.
