Hey,
Im looking for a pair of headers for a 1988 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, 305/5.0, They need to be around $100, I don't plan on spending much more because well, this is just for good grades.

I saw Summit has some but those headers also fit a whole list of other cars so im totaly confused on that.

headman, headers & y pipe, 82-92 f-body

i have a set of shorty headmans i will be selling shortly in the spring w/ headman y pipe , as i am getting some stainless steal slp full length headers soon!
let me know if interested, & not in a huge hurry? i will not be able to remove them for a few weeks (car is up north in storage) for the winter months! at my dads, gargage! thanks

SBC headers will fit a lot of different cars, mostly because the same engines were used in so many cars. LT1/LS1 headers are more expensive because there's less available room under the car and in the engine bay, so headers are made specifically for those cars. Good luck finding them for less than $100.

Hey Brad.....just a note...SLP doesn't make a set of full length headers for these cars....they are 1 3/4 shorties...but they are still nice pieces.

I had a set of hedman headers on my 3GC and they went in pretty easy.

Yep they will fit, you will just have to fab up a y-pipe.

You will have to make one or have one made.......don't know of any company that sells a y-pipe for those headers.
