Looking to buy a 12 bolt or 9". Preferably a posi rear rather than a spool. I'd like 4 channel to keep my ABS and TCS but its not essential I guess, 3.73s would also be perfect. Let me know if you guys or gals see or hear of anything.

Strange engineering's dana 60 is acuallty cheaper then their 12 bolt but it's a lot of extra weight you dont needThe Chevy Camaro was built with a single purpose in mind which it executes flawlessly...Going very very fast in a straight line until your hair catches on fire.

Jeff, I know you commented on that one for sale on craig's list. I called about that one. It is brand new but doesnt have axles. True track i believe. Maybe you can talk him down and see what the costs are of installing 3.73s and axles. Probably more trouble than it is worth though.

I would say a 33 spline 12 bolt would be good enough for a non trans braked auto.
I haven't had any issues with mine since I put the solid pinion spacer in.
I will see if it holds in the spring with 28/10.50s ET drags on a 5500rpm lauch though
Can you get a 4 channel 9 inch now? I know you couldn't before.

Best of both worlds, get a 9 bolt. But remove 1 bolt from your current rear end and voila! Killer combo! HAHA.sigpic
