Anyone have a line on a working 4L60E? I'm curious what these things are going for in working condition. SBC style, not LS1 style.

Let me know if you know what they run or where i can find one...

Matt, do you plan on putting that 4L60E in your F-Body?
Do you know that HP they are rated to handle?

I was asking merely to weight the benefits of switching to a LS1 PCM which would allow the use of the 4L60E vs my blown up 700R4. They are both mechanically identical and thus id imagine the 4L60E can be built to handle the same power levels as the 700R.

good condition they are going for twice what a 700-r4 would go for but you can often find deals.

the average 700-r4 is 250-350 on a good day. by the time you do all the work you should just use a 700-r4.
