*****es. . . Anyway, OT and I have worked out a deal, I'm buying his truck when I get the cash, shouldn't be too long. My cell phone bill is the only expense I have right now, and it's paid up til March, so I'm good. Win-win situation. Jasen gets the money, I get the truck, we all walk away happy. Except for the pile of pumpkins that were expecting to ride in the bed of the truck . . . lol Thanks a lot, Jasen, my dad and I will probably be up there to pick up your pickup in about 11 days, if my check is for what I hope it's for. . . Thanks for helping, guys. I didn't realize that a 2WD truck could be as good in snow as a 4WD could, just didn't really expect that.Nick H.

Well, a 4wd is always going to be a little better but with enough weight it should make a difference. But for regular driving in snow/ice, I've never had a problem, and I've had several trucks, and never owned a 4wd vehicle myself.Comment

Dad offered to help me buy the truck and let me pay him back after my tax check comes back. . . OT, I might be out this weekend to pick up the truck . . . I've got big plans for it. . . lol You're going to be happy when I'm done, it's not so much a winter beater as it's going to be a custom sport truck. . . I'm so excited. It's gonna be a badass ride. Since my dad worked at a GM dealership, he got a complete front clip for his friend's 01 Chevy Pickup, well his friend didn't end up using it, so I got it back, and I'm hoping to retrofit those peices onto this truck. . . It's gonna be unique, that's for sure. When are you going to be around GR, Jasen? I'd like to come get it soon. . .Nick H.

Nick, I live in GR but the Truck is 45 minutes west and slightly south in Nashville. I can't do it Saturday but I could sunday morning or early afternoon. Just have to be home in time to watch the SuperBowl, lol.Comment
