  • 4th Gen Clutch Master Reservoir Cap

Anyone swap to an auto and have a clutch reservoir/cap lying around? My cap has cracked and is in need of replacement. But I can't buy a replacement cap. GM only sells the reservoir/cap as part of the master cylinder assembly. I am slowly leaking brake fluid out of mine at the moment but can at least drive it. Just mad that I didn't realize it was leaking and it has destroyed the paint on the reservoir bracket. Trying to prevent any further damage if I can avoid it. Let me know.

Tony I still can't find one. I'll find them after you get one. Lol

I think I bought a used master cylinder from one of our MiFBody guys, and that should have a cap on it. It may be quite a while before I get around to using it on my car, so we can probably work something out -- it may be a few days before I can get to it due to some medical issues in the family, but PM me if you want me to look for it.

I didn't get home until 10pm from work last night (yay for 13 hour days), so I didn't get to go through the garage. Will try today, as long as I am released from the dungeon in time.

Yup, still looking for one. Car made it to M&G and back home. Now it is parked for some disassembly to get my hot side parts re-ceramic coated. So I can hopefully track down this freaking cap and replace that while it's down. Let me know if you guys find any. Thanks!

Will do - I haven't forgotten, but just been ridiculously slammed with work and family requirements the last few days. Certainly will be out in the garage this weekend.

Thanks! May just have to order one of those. Can't find them through GM either. They only come as part of the clutch master cylinder assembly.

Only issue I see is that I am not a member over there and don't see a link to order them or an e-mail to contact Tom at. Is anyone a member and can get me his e-mail? Let me know and thanks!
