The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Like the title says, i'm looking to pick up an LS6 intake for my Camaro locally. Been looking online, but i really want to avoid shipping hassles, and figured a better deal can be had locally by someone switching to a FAST intake this winter... If i can't find one, i'm looking at grabbing a BBK SSi LS intake for the car, i found a good deal online for $430 shipped to my door NIB for the BBK.

Still looking for an LS6, hopefully things pan out soon, if not, the Dorman LS1/LS6 repop is starting to look better and better......a little sanding/smoothing and some paint will do, but i think the friggen EGR plug is hideous, i wish they would make it without that, but include the plug for those that need/want to drill it out.

they are definitely getting harder and harder to find, at least at a decent price. check out LS1tech, they are on there a lot but prices have creeped up
Yeah, i've been looking on LS1tech, but i would rather stay local if possible to save shipping and allow me to check it out prior to cahsing in, and possibly help someone out with Christmas funds and empty a shelf off.

And they are visually identified by the lack of EGR hole and the flat bottom as opposed to the curved bottom on the LS1 intakes. Some LS1 intakes had no EGR holes in them, as they were Corvette intakes.
