  • want to rent an enclosed car hauler from someone. ill give $500

I need to drive to texas to pick up a car and would rather have it in an enclosed trailer. Ill be pulling it with my 2010 F350 diesel and yes I have a brake controller. Tires must be in good shape as its 1000 miles each way. I need it next week 18th through the 22nd. Thank you

    Just have the car transported.

Your going to spend ~$600 on fuel
    Trailer rental $500
2,000 miles on use on your truck
    30+ hours driving

In my opinion it would cheaper and less of a headache to it transported. If you shop around I bet you could have it transported enclosed for $1000-1200

Your correct for that being an option, but would you pay $50,000 for a car without looking at it?

I would either pay a couple hundred bucks to have it professionally inspected or fly out there.

Flying out is $600. Someone elses idea of good and bad and my idea are always 2 different things. You end up at the same cost of doing it myself. If I pay $50,000 for a car I want to take it with me. I didnt buy a diesel to worry about miles being put on my truck.

What kind of car are you looking at? I will run the idea past my father.
