WTB: Good set of (4) 275/40/17 tires

Looking for a complete set of 275/40/17 tires. Want something decent with minimum 50% tread left on them and even wear. Looking for a better quality tire with less life on it and cheap vs. a cheap tire that's almost new. Anyone got anything?

I have 2 big comp sport 2. That I'm taking off my car soon. Tons of tread left. Only have 8k miles on them.

Thanks Michael, definitely an option! I'm strongly considering that along with a set of the BFG g-force Sport Comp-2's like what riderman is selling. They're about the same price new, just trying to figure out which one is a better tire particularly in the rain.

FWIW I have the BFG g-force Sport Comp-2's on one of my cars, and I like them.

i have a set, but im not sure i want to get rid of. they are summito htrz 2 they look new. the only thing keeping me from selling them is i want to get some gto spares with tires to use drag racing.

Thanks Scott, the Sport Comp-2s are what I'm leaning toward. Tire Rack has them for $135/each and they're very well reviewed.
