WTB: Cheap SBC Gen I cylinder heads

Hey All,

Just like the title says.. Would like to pickup a set of cheap rebuildable L98 heads if anyone has some laying around.. Prefer aluminum.. But the cast iron ones will work too.

or any performance type heads that someone is looking to get rid of for cheap.. prefer 87+ cylinder head style..

I am currently using L03 truck heads.. and they are KILLING me.

I have a set of heavily ported aluminum bow tie heads I might be selling. How radical is your cam?

Its a comp can thumpr cam

They're max effort heads, when i bought them i was told they were over 300 cfm @ 650 lift. Without a converter and a decent cam you'll lose torque.

This is the cam in my car currently.. and the torque converter NEEDS to be upgraded terribly.. currently it is stock size.

Comp Cams Thumpr Cam (279 and 297 duration, 0.479 and 0.465 lift (with 1.5 rockers), and 107 degree lobe seperation, flat tappet hydraulic 279TH7 )

do you have a model number on the heads?

They're bowtie "phase 6" heads #14011049. They have springs for a .630 lift solid roller on them. I'm asking $550.
