  • WTB: Rear end

So, my 7.5" torsen rear I got turns out to have a bent carrier. Because whoever put carrier bearings on it, used torches, vicegrips, cutting wheels and hammers to get the carrier bearing off (Seems like anyways, the one side is chewed up and blue).

Anyways, I'm looking for either an 8.5" whole rear, whole 7.5" whole rear, series 3 posi eaton/torsen/locker carrier, and perhaps a set of decent 3.73 gears. I'm looking for used take off type stuff for cheap. I'm honestly not sure what I'm going to do at this point ... I want to get a new carrier, and can get an ebay eaton style carrier, but I'd rather see if anyone here has one first

    Lemme know whacha have! Thanks

I'd offer up my 10 bolt with 3.23's, posi, and rear drum that's currently in the car. Only downside is that It'll be a month or so before I get my 9 bolt in the car.

Well thanks for the offers guys. I ended up just deciding to go to DTS and bight the bullet. Picked up a Detroit Trutrac and a new gearset.
