Looking for a set of (4) 16" chrome 5 star Firebird wheels in good shape. If they have tires, great! Need those too. Let me know, Thanks.

I've got a set of chrome ones. I'll dig them out tomorrow and take a few pics of them.

Guess they were worse than I remember. They've all got a little bit of pitting starting on the inner hoop. I rubbed one of them and it came off, so I don't think they are too far gone. None of the chrome is chipped or flaking off. They are dirty from sitting from a few years. One has a slight bend in the very edge, would be an easy fix. Only two still have tires. All four did hold air, they car they were on sat in a barn for 5 years before I found it...tires were still inflated enough to drive it out and onto the trailer. I wouldn't hesitate to use them. They'll clean up. I was actually going to use them on my 97, but was too lazy to go out in the snow and bring them up to put new tires on....was easier to use the silver ones that were chilling out in the living room. Make an offer if you're interested.

            Start with the worst one.

This one has a little knick.

Another shot of the knicked one...in the first picture it looks like the chrome is flaking around the center.

Man, I appreciate you getting these out and taking pics. I'll let you know. Trying to find some wheels near perfect condition. Like you said, these will probably clean up pretty good, but the bent one kinda scares me. Gonna keep looking, for now. Thanks.

No problem. I don't blame you for holding out for a better set. I don't think they are going anywhere anytime soon, the shed it kind of a black hole of parts. If you change your mind let me know.

i have some 16" 5 spoke camaro wheels i'd let go cheap. they look good from the outside but the chrome is peeling on the inside. i can snap some pics tonight if you'd like. they have tires on them but they're nothing great. i just use them to move the car around when the other wheels are off for work.

And...back in the market. Deal fell through. Wheels need to be Firebird 16" chrome in good shape. Not looking for wheels that are peeling, pitted, bad curb rash, etc. Preferably with a decent set of tires. Thanks!

I hear ya. They're not actually for me. They are for my moms '02 Firebird. She has chrome on there now, but they are peeling BAD. The tires are about bald too. She wants chrome back on there, on a budget and her mind is made up. There is no changing that...

Might be tough finding a set of 12 to 16 yr old chrome rims without issues... ever consider sending out for PVD?
