WTB - LS1 alternator bracket

Pretty sure I need to go a different route with the LSx swap in the 60 Impala.


I have a LS3/L99 Camaro setup now but can't find an alternator to test fit with. I'm pretty sure it will interfere with the power steering box, and I don't want to spend $150 just to find out.

LS1 bracket will tuck the alternator closer to the block, and I won't have to buy another alternator. I'll have to back the bracket with 3/4" spacers to match the truck pulley/water pump setup. Not sure if the LS3/L99 idler pulley will swap over, but if so I have a brand new one. If not, well, I need one of those as well

Ebay prices are $70 shipped. Seems high, only paid ~$30 for a brand new LS3/L99 bracket.

I'd pay $50 shipped for a used one with an idler pulley.

Yup, the ones I bought for the current setup will work with the LS1 bracket and spacers. Still not sure if the idler pulley I have will will work, but that's not a big deal. I just need to clear the Delphi 600 steering box
