• 01-02 Trans am Ebony Door panels

I'm having a very hard time trying to find some Ebony door panels for my 01 Ws6 that aren't cracked. Does anyone know of any good places? I've been scouring Ebay and Ls1tech to no avail. Or, possibly anyone know a place that could fix the cracks in my door panels for a fair price? Thanks.

If you find a good place to repair them, please let us all know. TrickyTransAm has an otherwise pristine, low-mileage, original owner 2002 WS6, except for the infamous door panel problem. And the panels have never even been off the car before! Talk about crummy material choices on the part of GM...

I dont think it is a material issue. The cracks are caused by the inner window sweep and the way it is stapled to the door panel. There is fix information out there. Youtube I believe. Would you be opposed to dying a set?

If worse came to worse I would probably be willing to dye a set if I had no other options. What really sucks is the guy that I bought my car from said the door panels never used to be cracked until he took it to a dealer to have both window motors replaced, and they cracked when they pulled them off.

I will keep my eyes open for a set of grey ones since ebony are kinda hard to find.

JasonH recently had a set of uncracked charcoal door panels from a 1998 Trans Am, you might want to PM him to see if he still has them.
