It should be the same as a th200c out of an 82. I believe the measurement is 49.5 u joint to u joint. I need the driveshaft like yesterday...

and do you know if that had a 6 inch short tail shaft or the 9 inch tail? and its almost impossible to find a solid measurement online for a shaft! i got the 49.5 from numbers ive found but ive found other numbers that put my length at 44.. ive read the stock driveshaft in a 4thgen is 41.5 inches add 3 inches because the th350 is 3 inches shorter, and you get 44.5... but then i read the stock driveshaft is 44.25 inches long. which means i need a 47 inch shaft, then i also read the 200C driveshaft is a direct bolt in... and someone posted that it was 49.5 inches ujoint to ujoint...Last edited by 1fstss; September 27th, 2013, 11:21 AM.1997 Camaro SS convertible #594-Gone but never forgotten

Sorry, I didn't see the response till now. Can you get the measurement from the pinion to the tailshaft? I MIGHT be headed north tomorrow afternoon. else I will be around all weekend. I can also measure an overdrive 3rd or 4gen driveshaft tomorrow

Total length I need is 44.75 ujoint to ujoint. So that 44 can get me by till the shop gets my other shaft done. I called Midwest chassis and they said the 44 would get me by. I have a race on Sunday so I'm trying to get one ASAP. When you see this text me at 9897144985 thanks a ton.
