Looking for new engine, trans, rear end....

okay im looking for a 383 stroker, a 3.73 posi rear end and a kit to change over from a 4spd auto to 6 spd manual as well as the 6 spd manual.. and someone to put it in, ive had it priced from a shop for a new motor etc. it was 7500, willing to pay as much as 9000, as long as the motor has at least 400-500 horsepower

if your willing to pay that much i would say just order a ZZ383-500 online nice setup for a decent price... ive seen them go for 6 grand with warranty.. the 6 speed i would try to find a donor car... you can use the pedals outta a 4th gen and just pretty much steal everything outta that and use it.. most junkyards in the area gave me a price of 1,000-2,000 for a complete low miles setup... then really all you would need is a new clutch to take the power maybe a freshen up of the trans and your set... there are tones of guys that make crate 383 higher power range between 400-600 hp just shop around try to find the best deal... putting it in isnt going to be that bad the hardest part is gonna be the trans and you can get the trans cross memeber from Spohn for cheep.. after that its just drop it in and bolt it down

okay man, thanx about how much you think it will cost and does he do the install? cause if i do the engine the tranny and read end has to happen at the same time, will settle for a 700r4 5 spd auto as well
