I looked around, everyone was over priced or they sold instantly. Got a new pan, new pickup tube, and two oil filters (just because - $9.30 for both) for $241.98 from superchevyperformance.com

That is cheaper than I have seen so far. I was hoping to find a bare pan because I can swap over everything from the old one. Did you get a coupon code with your order?

Nope, just went to the site and started clicking. They don't sell the windage tray, but the truck ones will work if you cut them.

I bought a Mr. Gasket chrome dipstick for $14 on eBay. I figured if it doesn't work well then oh well

I had a great experience with Super Chevy Performance. I placed my order Thurs evening and got my package this morning - way earlier than expected. They called me right after I placed my order to let me know that I didn't read the description good enough and didn't need the extra bolts I had ordered. They also let me know that this oil pan uses the new style oil filter threads so I would need to look for a different filter than the 98-02 fbody. I would definitely do business with them again.

PF48 if I remember correctly. Glad I ordered two

It's the new style filter - should be the same as the 07 and newer v8s

And yes, their prices and service are great. The only downfall is that they don't carry all the GM parts, it was hit or miss looking up OEM stuff. Maybe they aren't listed on the sight and a phone call would get you further

Just buy one from Jegs (via eBay) - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mr-Gasket-62...-/200752877443

The end of the dipstick was bent to fit in the packaging wasn't hard to straighten it back out though
