  • Looking for a 4th Gen Rear End

Hey guys, my stock ten bolt just took a couple of teeth of the pinion. I am looking for a different rear end to swap in just to finish off the rest of this season. I have a 9" but still need parts and figuring out on it before I can put that in. I have only had my car out for a couple of weeks this season and then this happened. Not that I didn't expect it, just wanted to make it the rest of this season and then put in my 9" over the Winter. If anyone has a 3.23 or 3.42 rear end laying around on the cheap please get ahold of me. Thanks for your time.

Unfortunately, I don't have one, but at least I have company right now. Thinking I cooked my bearings and hoping I didn't kill my posi. Depending what carrier you have, you may be able to switch the ring and pinion, should the availability get tight up there. I know it doesn't help you, but there's someone else on here with the same quest going on. Hope everything turns out for you and you just need to swap housings out. GL.

I have one with a 2:73 I'm pullling out of my 95 Camaro, has new pads and rotors on it. It's a 3 channnel. I'd sell it for $125. The only thing is I have to sell it minus the hard brake lines, I need them for my new installation.

Thanks guys, I am going to keep looking. I keep an eye on CL every so often but most people on there don't even list things right, makes it hard to find what you're looking for. I really can't use the 2.73 rear. My car came with a 2.73 and the stall just hates life with it. I may end up just swapping the gears out, was just hoping someone had a complete one laying around.

I have one with 3.42s in the barn. I think it is a 3 channel and not the 4 channel. I would need $250 for it though as it's my backup lol.
