The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Got my bumper back from the body shop all nice and ready for the cruise today going to put it on last night, small coolant leak noticed, start the car this morning pissing coolant.
Anyways looking for 96-97 opti and good water pump. The sooner the better.
I've heard mixed reviews about the CMS optis, some folks love them, some say you're better off with a new AC Delco, and that it's worth the increased cost.
I have no experience with aftermarket opti's (chandler, msd, etc..) I can tell you my factory ac delco unit has been in front of my motor now for 8 years now and runs like a champ.. And if you have the coin for a electric water pump buy it...

There is mixed reviews about everything in life. My cms opti has been wonderful, I'd buy another in a heartbeat.
I will not purchase a CMS opti after the way they treated the ltx community. Going to toss a new water pump on it today let the opti ride while I wait for a Delphi unit to get here. Hate doing things twice, but gotta get to work tomorrow
