  • LS1 4L60E tranny pan wanted or prices on LS1 M6?

dropped the pan on my tranny today to put a couple updated parts in the valvebody. good news, i fixed my lockup issue and the bigger boost valve seemed to make a huge difference. bad news after the car sat for a couple hours, it left a huge puddle of trans fluid. problem is the pan on this thing has been on and off so many times, its done. i replaced the cork gasket but the bolt holes on the pan are pretty damaged. with my stall im looking for a pan that will help try and keep temps down with a drain plug preferably. beggers cant be choosers although and if i have to settle for a stocker for the rest of the season so be it.

on a side note im fed up with the A4 and would like to find an M6 and necessary parts for the swap. ill even consider an M6 thats needs rebuilt if the price is right. was running 11.80s consistently last year and once this year on a hot day. with the new LS2 and other mods performed recently i think ill be needing a roll cage soon enough and im not doing that so id rather something i could relearn and have more fun on the streets and possibly get back to needing a rollcage someday.

lmk what you have or any suggestions on solving my current issues. any ideas on a good pan i could buy from a website or such. also the "built" A4 could be up for sale soon if i can get an M6 lined up

    thanks

I had a TCI pan on my old Formula. Held a couple extra quarts and had a drain plug. I'd check one of those out

just hand tight. didnt really torque it. i hate the rubber gaskets. cork or the paper ones usually work best for me
