  • WTB: 68 or 69 Z28 Camaro

Long story short my sister inlaws dad had his Camaro being restored from a man in Chicago and after it bring with him for many years the guy fleed from Chicago with many cars he was in the middle of restoring. The guy got caught and the camaro was in worst condition then it was dropped off in and he is collecting quite a bit of money through insurance.

Unfortunately I don't have anymore details but he is now looking for a 68-69 Z28. He is looking for something that can be restored. Shoot me any links or photos and I'll forward them on to him.

    Thanks all!

Not sure what he's looking to spend, but I found this site. http://www.readytofix.com/Ad/1969_Camaro_Flood_Goo.htm
If he doesn't care if it has a salvage title, this might be an option for him.

            They're not too bad.

A '68 is going to be a little more pricey just because of the rarity, and they made a ton of '69s.

But you should be able to pick up a "done" '69 for low $30s and a '68 will probably be $10K more in similar condition...it's not like 5 years ago when you couldn't touch one for less than $50K...those days are over...

Doug would cry at that last white one......so many simple things done wrong for something you're trying to get $49K for...

And DZ302s are only fun at 7000 RPM...they're slugs at low RPM...
