  • WTB: LS1 center console

    As title states. Must be in good shape and complete with shifter boot.

        LS1 console is the way to go, so so much better than the LT1 console. Surprised you've held onto the LT1 console this long - that was one of my first mods.

          Actually, im wondering if you happen to have any pics of the front portion? (the part that is normally covered by dash) My plan is to have an opening and just make a bracket to hang gauges from underneath the stereo. Tired of trying to mount gauges in that stupid cassette holder

            These are the best I could find for now -- I shoved a snow hat in between the two parts and it filled the hole quite nicely. Ignore the "caption" my dad added to the pic back in 2004...

                    i have these if your interested..
                    the upper part has a crack in it shown in pic but cant really see it unless u split it apart..

                    there is no power ports on it but i think u have to swap the ones from your old one for it to work
                    i put in ebony interior in mine and it wouldnt hook up so i changed these out

                    i dont know a price i dont mind helping a fbody out though =D

                            Probably wouldn't be that big of a difference. FWIW, and you probably already figured this out, but all you have to do is put some plastic resin or something behind the crack and that way it won't be able to be "spread" - that's what I did to my old E1505 laptop when the corners cracked... just have to make sure the crack is level/smooth before the resin dries and that way it'll be held in place and you'll really barely be able to tell it's there.
