Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
you have the stock wiring harness in place still? If so go to Auto Zone or any where really and buy the wiring harness adapter for a aftermarket radio. Get it online at www.sonicelectronix.com or www.crutchfield.com that way you can then get any aftermarket radio that you want.
yeah- the guy who helps me when i have troubles "doesnt do radios anymore", and ive never been good with wiring (reason i went with a 1971 engine xD ).
Thanks for the advice- ill check out those websites
OK- so i did some more investigating--- my radio is NOT stock, and im not sure when it is from exactly, but the name of it is "pioneer ke-2303qr supertuner"
heres a picture of the plug in the back of the radio itself
i never did figure out when that old radio was from, BUT, i got a really good newer model CD PLAYER (i know! what an upgrade!!). took it home, tore out the old radio, and wired the new one in (process of elimination takes forever... especially if its not just the speaker wires you need to worry about)
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN--- LOOK AT THE CARS INNER WIRING BEFORE BUYING IT FROM SOMEONE! (never know when you might find out that all the stock wiring has been replaced with all one color wiring..... throughout the whole car........)
