If you want new - 165r15 radials are $60-70 a piece. They handled fine on my 3400# buick, don't know how they'd be on an f-body.

I really like my sportsman front runners.

I had a bad experience with the MT sportsman bias ply front tires. Car (1972 plymouth) would wander all over the road even the front end was all new and aligned. After a year I bought some Kuhmo cheap radials 165-85-15 when I put MT drag radials on and the car drove like a new Cadillac.
When in doubt, Whip it out !

Those kumho's are made for VW bugs(2000 lbs).. Do people run them and get away with it, yes.. Do you want to risk it?

Sportsmans bias - handle fine with radials out back. I drive mine to the track that way. Never had an issue.

M/T makes a radial front runner too. They are expensive.

You could try a 205/70/15 as well. Your not going to find a high speed rated radial in skinny sizes.....but they are fine for running down the strip.

my buddy has that combo.. it seems to not ride to bad. i have mt radials on all 4 and it drives stock(minus the !powerstearing lol) but yeah i think they are about 180 a piece. but love the flame look and the ride.

                      Sportsman SR's 26/6/15 is what I ran when I had 15" fronts..

Still fairly pricey, but I suspect they're designed to handle the speed better since they're a purpose-built tire.
