Looking for a good running 3.8

I just picked up a 97 camaro,t-tops,3.8 automatic 147,000 miles on body..motor was rebuilt,but has engine noise..not sure what it is yet..just looking to see if any one has one they are getting rid of..Pm me for faster response.

what type of noise? If they used comp oe-r lifters those things are noisy from the get go.

I emailed on that motor,he said it has 198,000 miles on it..The motor in my car was rebuilt,but dont know how long ago or how many miles...It has 60psi oil pressure,it definetly sounds like a knock,and its in the lower end of the motor.

Hey im pulling my motor in my 1998 grand prix gt. Its a 1 owner car and the motor has 140,000 miles on it. in excellent shape and still looks brand new. I bought the car from an older lady who got the car brand new and has had it ever since. so it definitely hasn't been beaten on. I'm only selling it because i have a built 3800 supercharged motor going in as soon as the trans comes back from being beefed up to handle the new power. if you want it the motor is yours. still looks brand new.
