What is wrong with direct port? You just put the nozzles under each injector...

Not trying to push the sale of his kit, I'm just curious why you'd rather run a plate kit than a direct kit.

I think you have some more reading to do...but I'll sum it up. Direct port is wet. The shot changed by two jets, one for fuel and one for juice. Each cylinder can be dialed in by a secondary jet in the nozzle.

How much paint work are you looking to have done? To do the entire car, depending on quality... I would budget $3000-$5000 for a good quality paint job without cutting corners.

LS6 intakes usually go for ~$350

Dyno tune should not be more than $500 and I wouldn't bother until you do the cam swap

Rotors and pads can be had on eBay through brakemotive or other sellers for $175. They're drilled and slotted, but have ceramic pads and are marginally better than stock, but look better IMO.

Also, don't forget things like a new clutch and valvetrain
I just got my brakes not to long ago, going to install this weekend, they were 170? shipped and had them in two days.

Bummer! Bad things always seem to happen right before summer gets here
