Realisticly you only need one. That would go in the I pipe. Some folks get two. But go with dual low pro dmh cutouts if you plan on going with two. I have the dual low pros to go on this year. Reason I went with two is because my exhaust is 2.5"

QTP or DMH is the way to go. I opted for DMH because 4 year warranty. You should be fine with a 3"

I went with one cutout in the intermediate pipe. If by "right before the muffler" you meant before the axle, that's because on the 4th gen fbodies there is a hump in the floor pan where the back seats are that is perfect dead space for a cutout to fit in. I went with a RaceReady cutout because it has a lifetime warranty.

This was moreso a picture of the driveshaft disconnected, but you can see my cutout in the background:

I think having two cutouts coming off the longtube's primaries are extremely loud. I actually enjoy driving mine around town with the cutout open. On the freeway the drone is kinda loud but not too bad.

I have a single 3" Magnaflow 10785 for sale. It is a manual cutout but an electric valve can be added. I've bee chatting BadlanzHPE about getting the correct size because Magnaflow seems to have used a large flange on the cutout portion of the y.

just want it to be insanely loud when i want it to be.
dont honestly have a budget.. i dont like to get cheap stuff that dont last.

if ur wondering why im asking about alot of parts such as intake, nitrous, cam ect... its all stuff i plan on doing to my car i like to get as much knowledge i can get before i go out and get something
i am keeping car and what i cant afford will be later on when i can afford it.

as of now my budget will go as far as
                  paint job $1200
                  nitrous $930
                  ls6 intake <-- maybe $300???? unsure
                  dyno tune <--- 750
                  rotors/new pads <--- 350ish

It is stainless steel, looks like a nice piece. Not sure how it will look after the elements get to it as I just installed the other one I had. The cheapest you will find is $68 shipped ($110 at O'Reilly's). I was asking $60 shipped but am open to offers, it is brand new never installed. I still need to figure out the flange situation, waiting to hear back from the guy I bought my valve from.

I can get you a used NLX kit that came of a 2001 TA with 15K miles. Installed but never used. 800 plus shipping, but he might ship for free if he gets the full $800
                    http://www.mifbody.com/vbulletin/sho...009#post723009

A good paint job will be double that price, if not more.

LS6 intake for $300 means you will have to get lucky and find one the instant it goes on sale

                    Dyno shouldn't be $750, that's high.

As far as brakes, put more money towards the pads. Hawk or EBC have been good to me. Don't take that as if it's OK to skimp on rotors though. OK rotors + great pads > great rotors + OK pads.

Ok, just didn't want you thinking you're going to pick up 50hp by adding one or two Personally, I would just install 1 QTP electric cutout. The DMH ones are nice, but stupid expensive.

How much paint work are you looking to have done? To do the entire car, depending on quality... I would budget $3000-$5000 for a good quality paint job without cutting corners.

LS6 intakes usually go for ~$350

Dyno tune should not be more than $500 and I wouldn't bother until you do the cam swap

Rotors and pads can be had on eBay through brakemotive or other sellers for $175. They're drilled and slotted, but have ceramic pads and are marginally better than stock, but look better IMO.

Also, don't forget things like a new clutch and valvetrain

pipe looks nice and good quality this would mount on the y-pipe correct?

havent herd of NLX but the kit i found will run a 300 shot *though ill never use a 300* i plan on using wet kit so i wont need bigger injectors aswell "nice kit but i think ill pass"

the guy that will be painting does good quality work. but car has zero damage so fairly simple job most places dont charge alot if there isnt any damage.. so ive seen lately i know some places charge alot more. 1500-1700 was average cost of paintjob at places ive been

livernois tune =/ there pretty good
i know baker has better deals but feel better going to livernois for a tune.

It fit my y pipe just fine. Watch my video of the new exhaust, about 34 seconds in shows the pipe work.

NLX = Nitrous Express. It would cost $2000 to replicate that setup.

                              Thanks!

You might have some clearance issues with those cutouts, not really sure. My car is a convertible third gen, so I have extra bracing all over. It fit great right in front of the cat.

As for the rotors, I haven't looked into Dora blanks. Mine were more just for the front, but they made from Brembo blanks. Hawk pads were great in opinion.

The kit my friend is selling is this kit (http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...w-10lb-bottle/) plus more (bottle warmer, arming switches/plate, etc).
