Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Like the title says, looking for a complete LT1 WS6 airbox assembly. Must have everything needed to attach it/make it work (doesn't need to have the air filter though).
My car is an actual WS6 that I bought as a rolling chassis, but the previous owner got rid of the airbox because the car used to have a supercharger on it. The hood is definitely my favorite for these cars.
I have a true dual 2.5" exhaust out the back with a Magnaflow muffler.
Good luck with the hood! Like the airbox, they're not easy to find, and if you do they're not cheap.
I found a complete tb forward oem kit on craigslist in mint condition a few years ago for $150. I bought it and by the time I picked it up he said he had about 30 calls offering him way more, but the guy kept to his word of $150. Good luck on your search!
I've actually been trying to find one for awhile to no avail. My thoughts were that if I was going to do the LS1 lid and cover the radiator cover, I might as well find an airbox and dremel open my hood's scoop.
There was actually one on eBay a couple weeks back for about $300 but I passed. Wasn't familiar with all the parts it should come with and wrongly assumed it was missing something I needed. Was definitely pricey, but at least I would have had it.
Ugh, I was all excited because someone PM'd me on another forum saying they had one and to make an offer. I avoided making an offer, and he shot back with a price of $500. I about hit the floor. Nooooo way.
Well, if I did go that route I'd go a little differently. I'd try to fiberglass something such that the air box actually works with my hood. I was thinking if I took balsa wood and made a frame I could then wrap a cotton tshirt around it and then soak in resin kinda of like this -
I gave it some thought since you mentioned it. The part that I think will be pretty difficult is making the two pieces fit together snugly and securely while still being removable. I actually think it would be harder to use a stock box as a template for those areas. I have a feeling it'll be a lot more work than it's worth unless $500 is really the going price. Fiberglass is cool but such a pain in the ass, lol.
I'd probably end up doing something custom with metal if I had to have something made, whether a sheetmetal box for the hood or a huge pipe mimicking a typical CAI but without the areas where it necks down and an enormous filter.
