He said it was noisy around 60. Other than that he said you couldn't hear it. Not worth the drive for what he wants.

Fab 9" is OVRKILL. A standard 9" with good parts in it will get you everything you need at your power level. Buy a housing and axle assembly and find everything you want/need. 35 spline axles are not needed. Its pretty expensive, parts become limited, the axles themselves are heavy as hell and again OVRKILL

o·vr·kill [oh-ver-kil]1. an excess of what is required or suitable, as because of zeal or misjudgment.

Not sure if the 9" housing I have laying around is a 4 channel housing, nor do I know how to tell the difference. However if you are still looking for a 9" set up I have everything besides the axle shafts. I have a camaro/firebird housing, cast center section, aluminum performance pinion bearing cage, eaton detroit locker posi, and a 3.89 gearset. All it would take is for me to get a bearing kit and put it together. You would just have to buy the axle shafts on your own from moser. Let me know if you are interested. Feel free to just send me and email to pjsimon123@gmail.com , otherwise good luck on your search for your 9".
