The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Looking for a th350 trans with a 6" tailshaft housing. If it needs to be rebuilt, thats fine. Not looking to spend much but for the right trans i dont have a problem paying a bit. Keep in mind a new th350 from summit can be had for around $600, just not ready to spend that much right now. Thanks MiFbody
I have three you can pick from
1. Needs to be rebuilt, has no forward gears. Removed from 1977 Corvette $50 with dipstick tube and torque convertor
2. Worked fine when it was removed, It was replaced with a manual transmission. Removed from a 1976 Corvette with 35,000 miles $175
3. Just rebuilt, it is currenlty installed in my 1970 chevelle. Has an ATI performance torque converter(stall 2200) which was $291 on top of the rebuild which was close to $500. I would probaly let it go for $500. *I need to confirm it has 6 inch tail shaft housing.
Thanks for posting guys. It was pretty late when i posted last night, and i forgot a few things.
1. This is not for an F-body. It is for a 95 caprice.
2. It must have a 6" tailshaft. If it has a 9" tailshaft, it may be too long. It may work though with a little modification to the crossmember and driveshaft.
3. I will not have the money for a couple weeks, dad is waiting for his 401K loan to clear.
I appreciate the offers, and will keep them in mind when i make a decision. Please keep them coming. Hell, if i get a trans for the wagon, then i have a trans for a camaro that i may be getting aswell.....
