I was thinking of posting up a wanted thread on tech concerning your motor, you think I could get similar results?

                  SCORED!!

Thanks for the tips I received on this oil pan. Within 24 hours of posting I purchased a "never used" pan w/gasket and bolts for $100.

Little did I know that a LS2 C6 Vette oil pan would not clear my f-body k-member!

                  Thanks Brent for the support!

Now, the "toss-in" of this LS2 into f-body should be much easier

                  Insert into here please:

                      Thanks Jeff!

Damn, after trying to install the new pan, I realize I now need to get a new oil pick-up and possibly windage tray to fit the LS1 oil pan.

Nice work Jim!!! I'm not sure about support...just trying to keep the topic on track while keeping a straight face. Things always go a little off topic in here....

Must be nice having an engine to stare at When does it go in? Oh and yeah...specs please!
