  • WTB Stall...LS1

Hey, looking to get a 3400 or 3500 Stall. I'm looking for one fairly new now, until i break and buy a brand new one, which is what i should do anyway. I decided to ask around first, maybe i can catch a deal. Thanks!

Pretty tuff to actually break the stall. I would reccomend Fuddle, but they seem to be having a lot of customer complaints as of late. I bought my 3600 from them and have absolutely no complaints/problems, but that was 6 months ago.

I don't have one but my friend is selling 2 ones a brand new Fuddle and the other is used and I forget who makes it. I personally love my Fuddle and have yet to have any problems with it, I may send it back for a restall though and go 4000.

I am in the same boat as Jeff, might send it back to be restalled to 4000. Free, which is a plus that Fuddle offers. Mike

Yeah i remeber pm'ing him awhile back when i was thinking about getting one, don't remember his name now. I decided that i'm going to get one now. By any chance do you know what the rating and STR of the new Fuddle is? Or maybe he can give me a pm again?

Oh by the way when i said "break" i ment it as a figure of speech, lol. Sorry for that confusion Zspot98.

Its a Fuddle 3400 but I'm not sure of the STR, I'll call him today and see if he still has it.

                      gillbot on ls1tech.com....

                      Yank TT2800 LS1 Stall Converter.
Just pulled this from my wife's car and it's ready to go on yours. It sat behind her 350+RWHP motor and took her into the 12's on a CONVERTIBLE! I'm sure you'd gain a lot more in a T-Top car. This converter was nearly $700 when new!

                      Details:
                      Yank TT2800 series Torque Converter
                      3.0STR
I was told by Mike at Yank that it may be able to be restalled but he'd have to check it out first to determine how high. He can do an inspection and refresh for minimal cost (Prob ~$150) and you'd basically have a brand new converter. Street tires don't stand a chance since the high 3.0STR hits HARD. Any questions just ask!

Yeah i came across that one on tech a few days ago, the only thing that i was a bit eree about was the STR being 3.0, i'm still on my stock 10 bolt, would it even have a chance? I was thinking more of a high 1 or low 2 STR. Thanks for looking out by the way!!

That STR is pretty damn high but as far as lasting on the stock 10 bolt well any stall can wear on it faster and I guess its just luck on how long it does or doesn't last.

True! Well i have another question now, looking at a like new stall TCI 3500 , but its fit for nitrous. Seeing as i dont have nitrous yet, can i still use this stall?
