      these guys are referring to oil catch cans for the pcv system.

            read, I answered that already. LS1 are known for their poor pcv systems and lots of oil gets dumped back into the intake and essentially burned. These filters the oil out of the pressurized crankcase air before returning it to the manifold.

              read, all you said was it was for the PCV system. You did not describe it like you did above.
