I just picked up a 95 Z28 a few weeks ago(pics are coming)..It has a SLP SS spoiler, and a SS hood..My question is this, how do I tell what brand the hood is?There are no markings what so ever on it..I know it is not a RKsport hood..Maybe a SLP?or a OEM SS?.Any information is appreciated.

It should have a part number on it somewhere...if it really doesn't have ANYTHING marked on it, it's definitely not OEM, not SLP, and not any major aftermarket supplier.

But I'd wager there's a number on it somewhere...

I will get pics up today if it stops raining...no fiberglass strands can be seen...Are the inserts on the cowl plastic or metal on the OEM hoods?

Cowl inserts are plastic, and the PN on my SS hood was under the metal bracket where the strut things go. My hood is a genuine SS one that came off of an SS that hit a deer and I had repaired, so if you see a weird couple of numbers letters under there, its probably OEM.
