I need a transmission bad

I have a 1983 camaro my engine is dynoed at 525hp and i keep blowing transmissions I cant really afford to have one built up right now because of rent and other bills so im trying to come up with an auto tranny or a manual to tell you the truth i would prefer manual but im having a little trouble hooking one up for some reason I cant get my clutch bar right its manual linkage for my car. but any tranny is better than none can anyone help me out I have a little bit of stuff i can trade but not a whole lot and im pretty broke.

turbo 350? turbo 400? 4l60?

I think the better question is how do you afford to put gas in a vehicle that makes 525 hp? I think that explains some things

lol i know the gas sucks when i lived with my mom charlotte was 20 min away from my house and a trip there and back was a tank of gas. lol the camaro doesent see the road all that much unless it goes to a show and my wife and i try to take it out once a week for just a fun drive when we have money lol but as it looks right now when the snow goes away car might still be sitting. and as for the transmission I would prefer a th400 but idk how much fabricating i would have to do to make it work as far as the torque arm. I cant run a 4l60e as far as i know thats an electronic trans. and another question my manual fule pump doesent even try to keep up with the engine how do i digure out how many gph the engine uses for an inline electonic fuel pump
