I put one of the cheap $35 Cobra CB's in my Jeep with a 5' Firestik antenna, the most important part of any CB setup is tuning it properly. I have nothing but good things to say about the Cobra I bought, but if I used it more, I'd pick up a used Cobra 29 LTD or a Cobra 75.

for the price i would just buy new, depending what you want, mine is a northstar 3000, it has 240 channls slide to the side, built in carnex board, and gets out 15 miles. next to me i can peg your needle and it wont come back. lol
also was heard on a payphone once,

MAN OH MAN BROTHER, dont get me started on CB radios. Back in the day my President could WALK THE DOG BROTHER, lol. I agree, for the price, just look online for a cobra 29 LTD on sale somewhere and pick one up. Its not worth getting a used one somewhere and finding out the finals are destroyed in it. Now......with all that said.........Keep your your gown down, your knees in the breeze, your tin in the wind, the shiney side up and the dirty side down, and if yas dont see no blue lights than ya keep the hammer down.............................Im gone. Lol, good times, good times. Eric L

I have a midland in my Jeep and have had nothing but a good experience with it. I broke my antenna off in the car wash at work and I was still talking to my buddys about a mile away with the 1" nub of what was left lol

I have a couple I could pm you about, I'm gonna go with a cobra 75 (modded) for my camaro for when I'm on long road trips since I do rack up alot of miles but I might get a Ham license first and do a slick stealth install
