It's slow as balls. I can't even play the original Halo on it, its less than a year old.
That's because the Radeon card is an ATI graphics card. I don't care what size it is, ATI cards are junk. And now that AMD purchased ATI I may never try AMD because of ATI. Nvidia all the way.

Still bashing Flowmaster with no evidence? I believe the Katech Camaro is running Flowmaster's. (sorry, just gotta stand up for my exhaust, lol) In my defense, I bought mine because it was in my price range.

Umm, my computer exceeds all system requirements for both games. I only have 512mb of RAM, how about if I increased it to 1gb? Would that allow me to play the games any better?

well dont let the computer choose whats best for the system... most laptops its just going to give you power and memory save options go to the virtual memory and up it as much as you can without effecting other programs... as for the memory itself it will help but if you cant play games at all right now it wont do anything, if they kinda skip a bit or lag it will clear it up some but probably not all the way... thats why they make specifically designed laptops.... they are getting more powerfull but to get one that has everything a top quality desktop does your lugging around alot of weight... if you want to play games just go pick up an alien ware laptop expensive but gamers swear by them... i really dont see the point most games are on PS2 xbox or Gamecube so i dont waste my time putting them on a computer unless its all they are available for... download supermario brothers and leave it at that..lol

I agree, either the Alienware laptops or the Dell XPS are pretty good too. But I'm with you, most every game is or will be out on xbox or ps2, or will be for the next gen like the xbox360. The 360 is so badass why spend the money for a gaming pc. Just my opinion, plus tv screens are bigger. Of course I will eventually be spending some $$ on a high end CAD station for at home to start my own design work. But that has paybacks. Now there are rare cases that you need a pc for games, like the guy I share a cubicle with here at work says he can't run the controllers for xbox and ps2 so he's stuck with the computer for gaming, lol.

Don't make me dig up my old post from earlier this year when Steve didn't believe me. I posted a few flow charts that showed Flowmaster, statistically, barely flows any better than a stock intake system.

I was Just Kidding!!! I just have to pipe up and defend myself because I bought one without knowing any better, lol. I know it doesn't, but I'm stuck with it for now. I don't think I ever saw those charts though.

Perhaps im confused? I thought AMD was always the cheaper processor meissen? If they gave you in the intel for less then the AMD then damn, yeah, dont even need to think about that one!

My old desktop was an AMD 2600+ and the laptop I use now (2 years old already, wow.) is a P4 3.0GHz H/T. Its a northwood so its not as hot as the prescott's were. Its pretty snappy!

                  hold on let me look...

...ok nevermind, let me retract my statement. go with AMD. Intel's prices for a comparable duo core CPU was $425 compared to $150.

If the katech car used flowmaster, they most likely used the flowmaster chambered mufflers or whatever they are and threw em on a true dual system. The flowmaster catbacks are the ones that have the issues.

for the 500 hp that the LS7 camaro makes, flowmaster's ill flowing exhaust wouldn't hurt as much as a camaro with only 140hp and comparing a 5hp exhaust to a 15-20hp exhaust

Yes I'm sure they aren't using the 80 series muffler which based on my research is the one that has the issues the most, the one that comes with the cat back.

I understand that, I was just trying to be funny because I'm stuck with mine for now. Apparently it didn't come out funny. Sorry Brian if I got you worked up. Oh, and FYI I believe the LS7 Katech car makes around 640 hp.

lmao me worked up? It takes a lot for me to be worked up, was just a side comment, nothin more. I forgot you're over in GR, I think it's safe to say the guys that see me out at Woodward every weekend know it takes a lot to ACTUALLY get me upset.

The original Halo is alittle touchy. Make sure you have the latest patch for your card, and don't rely on Windows to download it for you, cuz they won't.

                              Well i bought this one:
                              http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...040us_Notebook
Got it for 1100$ it was on sale.
It seems pretty sweet, the site is misprinted, it's video is 256 dedicated memory, we made sure to check on that.

My friend who works at compusa told me they just got it in stock and it's what he's gettin too.

Got all the nice anti-theft accessories and a case, should be nice.
