they make USB drives. I'd personally prefer a netbook for that application as long as it has the right ports because the battery usually lasts way longer. up to you though!Originally posted by Boost Addict View PostI'd rather have a laptop because I need a drive in it. I am not sure what they go for let me look it up tonight with the model number and such and let you know.
A external CD drive would work to load the software if you have the cd if not you could download it of course.sigpic

While this posting is up, I am also interested in a cheap laptop/netbook. Only need it for web surfing and email while at work. Will be plugged it all the time so will even consider one with a crappy battery if its cheap enough. When in doubt, Whip it out !

Netbook? Does it have XP? I don't know what OS Tuner cats will work with. I have a 17 inch Toshiba laptop but its basically the big block of the computer world, about an hour of battery life.Originally posted by nascarnate326 View Posthow much are you willing to spend?
for 300 bucks you can get a brand new HP with an AMD processor and two gb ram.2015 Silverado

You could always look into getting an extended battery life for your Toshiba laptop and also change the settings to conserve battery life.
