  • Wanted 1994 Camaro Z28

Hi everyone, well not that Missy's Z has sold the search continues... I am looking for a 1994 (preferably), or 1995 Z28 to be my only car and a daily driver. I'm still in the process of selling my 97 RS, but as soon as she sells I will be in need of a car right away. Believe it or not, there are not that many Camaros in FL, and the few Z28's I've looked at are really abused. Everyone here on this site has such nice cars and really loves them, so I thought this would be a great place to find my Z. I am looking in the $4K range give or take a little, depending on the car. My favorite color in the 1994's is maroon, but will consider any nice Z. If anyone knows of one or sees a nice one, please keep me in mind and let me know

PS: i wasn't sure where to post this so I put it in cars for sale.

    Thanks, Lisa

Hey guys I have a question. I found a 1994 Z28 1LE, 6-speed. 79K miles in Daytona Beach, FL. It's teal and a black hardtop. He's asking $3450 and it says motivated seller. I did some reading on the 1LE Package and they are pretty rare right? I guess they made only 135 of them in 1994 and about 14 of them were Teal. It this a good price for this car? I'm still trying to sell my RS but I'm looking for a Z in the meantime. Just wanted some "expert" opinions. What do you think?

Sounds SUPER rare... You do not come across a 1LE very often. 134 sounds reasonable. And yes, teal is a very uncommon color

Heres some info I found on the 1LE package, dont know how accurate it is but if the no Air Conditioning part is true, I'd imagine in Florida that would suck lol.

Balanced and blue printed engine (So I have been told by GM insiders at the engine engineering facility, no joke). I think that is bull though. Although they did program the ECM differently also so I was told.
Close ratio trans (Corvette ratios) giving it a top speed of 167+ mph from the factory
            Engine oil cooler
            Stiffer and lowered Eibach springs
            Revalved Decarbon shocks
32mm front sway w/ poly bushings and end links
Harder durometer rear bushings (for 94 the 21 mm rear sway bar was an option, I found this out after ordering 21 mm bushings and realized they were too big)
The following deleted from the factory or not allowed as options: a/c, fog lights, cruise, no power anything (but it does have rear defog and 6 way manual seat), no sound insulation and intake elbow silencer delete.
LT1's are like Stonehenge, Total Mystery, But I'm sure I'll figure it out........

Yes, the no A/C part would suck in FL and probably wouldn't work for me. Lol I emailed the guy with some questions, it was on craigslist with no ph #. Here's a link to the ad.. It's got no power anything, which is fine with me. I'm really curious about the A/C thing.

I would make sure the RPO sticker says "1LE" in the RPO codes. Too many people will upgrade the suspension and then call it a 1LE.
