What's up with your quadrabog? Edelbrock's not much different unless yours is computer controlled (doubt it for 1976) other than being square-bore. That being said I could use an 850 demon if you wanna trade!

No its deff not conputer controlled, would like a edel to match my intake and cleaner and dad (zman) knows how to work on em. The rockchester i have works fine but runs way to rich for what I need and the control on the side wont let me lean it out plus I think one of the bolt its too long or something becuase I cant tighten the back of it down all the way theres about a half inch gap between the top of the bolt and the carb and it leaks a lil bit. What do you have to trade?! would love to get away with something cheaper than $200 ya know HA

Oh heck you don't need a new carb, just some fatter metering rods and some washers! Edel 700 is on the Camaro which is getting tuned today, have a Holley 750 somewhere that needs a new powervalve but it's cleaned and rebuilt. Not sure if I can sell it though because we might use it on a different build.

I personally prefer Holley carbs. Once you get used to them they are easy to tune and maintain. Eric L
